Milly's mono-print work was a way for her to see her words performing in a different circumstance- looking at ideas of "concrete poetry" discovering if the way words look affect the way you read them. I believe in the difference between my painted words and these minimalist and diaristic mono-prints, there's a significant difference in the way you read the words- I definitely believe the mono-prints carry less humour and more personal and read more like diary-style statements- they seem more confessional.
