"Go Ahead And Save Her"

(2018-19)

This body of work tackled ideas of domestic violence, the effects of a person's actions on a family and to a person's outlook of life- and achieving this through the application of paint in a very emotive and visceral way, using the primary colours as a tool and ode to violence and childhood. Using her self-titled- 'paint-smearing' on live models in a highly preformative and emotional way.

Making use of photography- both real/documented and staged, along-side mixed-media drawings, paintings, thick, aggressive paint and paint smears and words- embedded throughout the drawings and prints.
